Power Ledger was the brainchild of Jemma Green and David Martin. The idea was to create a trading platform for all the surplus electricity that comes off solar panels and wind in Australia. We helped develop the idea of the citizen power station and create the marketing for the floatation.
The work included developing stakeholder mapping and comms strategy. This was taken into creative in the form of Forbes articles, refining logos, writing TED talks and the creating the Watt campaign.
As the initial currency offering (ICO) day approached we helped create videos that would explain the offering to investors not familiar with the energy market.
The result was the ICO was a success and the value of the crypto-token involved called POWR has kept rising. The market capitalisation of the company is now some 200,000,000 Australian dollars
